Meet Donna
A Commitment to Service
"My name is Donna Vidrine, and I'm running to represent you on the San Clemente City Council. I believe government should serve the public interest. Our community deserves thoughtful leadership focused on local priorities: improving transportation and parking, supporting our local businesses, expanding opportunities for working families and first-time homebuyers, and supporting seniors and young families, while protecting our coastline, reducing wildfire risk, monitoring the potential landfill expansion, responsibly advancing the removal of nuclear waste from San Onofre, and addressing the challenges facing our community.
Public service is a calling. You deserve a council member who is accessible, transparent, ethical, and committed to serving every resident. I am beholden to no special interests and will work every day to preserve, protect, and enhance the quality of life that makes San Clemente such a special place to call home."
Service. Accountability. Stewardship.
Experience
Experience to Serve San Clemente
"For decades, I have built my leadership skills as an Air Force Captain, healthcare professional, nursing administrator, and small business owner. These experiences have taught me how to listen carefully, solve complex problems, make difficult decisions, and bring people together to achieve practical results. I understand that the decisions we make today will shape San Clemente's future generations."
